The
reasonable accumulation of sophisticated medical instrumentation
at intensive care nurses stations has presented architects and hosptial
planners with a unique problem: "How to design a complete cabinetry
system which is attractive, functional to the staff, and offers
complete flexibility in acceptance of all manufacturers' electronic
monitoring equipment.
Incorporating
"slide-out" drawer modules, the nurse station will accept
all makes of ECG monitors, memory tape loops and nurse call equipment.
By
stacking the modules, designers may create the desired work station
from prefabricated units, inexpensively and with the assurace of
a pre-tested system. |
