Intensive Care Headwalls

A typical ICU headwall system as designed by its inventor R.K. Meyer. Overhead IV track and quartz downlights were an added feature that provided color corrected light to the full length of the patient bed area. This multiwall, as manufactured by Electro-Systems, was the first headwall system introduced to the hospital market in 1965 at the Queen of the Valley Hospital in West Covina, California.
